Churchlands Swimming Trials
Churchlands Senior High School are holding their swimming trials for the students who have expressed an interest in joining the swimming program on Friday 14th October when the Yr 6 students from Wembley Primary school will be at camp.
As the Physical Education teacher has been contacted by several Wembley parents regarding this he has made arrangements to hold a separate swim trial for the students from Wembley who have applied to the program but are unable to make their appointed trial time on the 14th of October. The alternative swim trial time is next Tuesday 20th September from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. All the other details regarding location and what to bring remain the same.

Flextangle fun
Last term as a fun end to my Maths Class we made flextangles. I had originally made mine in paper and thought it would be better to give students cardboard to make theirs. Unfortunately the cardboard was very stiff and hard for the students to make. Since then several students have asked me about the paper one I made. On the weekend I also found a link to a pokemon one! I have attached both below. It's a great hands on activity and the students seem to really enjoy. I have attached the links below to the templates for anyone who would like to print them at home.

Something fun!
Hi all,
I recieved an email from Toys'r'us yesterday that I thought some of our class may be interested in. They are doing their annual search for Toy Testers for 2017. If you would like to apply you need to record a 60 second video of yourself and enter on the following link.

Good luck to anyone who chooses to apply!

Cake Stall - next TUESDAY 6th September
This is just a quick reminder to parents that our final cake stall will be held next Tuesday. Please remember to send you child to school with a plate of food to sell. This doesn't need to be sweet, often the savoury dishes go even quicker!
The proceeds of our final cake stall will go towards camp and the Graduation Dinner.
As always, thank you to all of you for your ongoing support. Hopefully this will be the most successful cake stall so far this year.
